    Nearly $1,000,000 in Federal (CIHR) Funding Secured. Every $1 donated to the bridge fund unlocked $25 in national investment.

Dr. Patrick MacDonald’s research focuses on the pancreas and how it regulates insulin. Specifically, his lab utilizes the ADI IsletCore(one of the world’s largest sources of human pancreas research tissue) to study how variation in insulin production contributes to diabetes risk.
