Since 1996, Rock’n August has been more than just a festival—it's a community-driven effort to fuel the fight against diabetes through a unique blend of classic cars and timeless music.
Born from a partnership with the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, this event has become a summer tradition in St. Albert, drawing enthusiasts from across Western Canada and the United States.
Since its inception, Rock’n August has raised over $1.8 Million for the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.

A Historic Milestone
$1 Million Commitment
At the 2025 Hummingbird Awards Gala, Rock’n August President Christina Green-Siracky announced our most ambitious goal yet: A pledge to raise $1 Million for the Alberta Diabetes Foundation by 2030.
