May 2, 2026 - Annual Conference

Kids ‘n’ Us

Join ADF at the Kids 'n' Us Annual Conference, the only event of its kind in Alberta, dedicated to the needs of T1D families.

Empowering Families Facing T1D

At the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, we understand the unique challenges that families with children facing Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) endure.

The Kids 'n' Us Annual Conference is the only event of its kind in Alberta, dedicated to the needs of T1D families. This volunteer-driven conference offers a compassionate and informative environment where families can come together, share experiences, and learn from experts.

  • Date: May 2, 2026

  • Time: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

  • Location: Chateau Louis Conference Center, 11727 Kingsway NW, Edmonton, AB

  • Kids ‘n’ Us is a local non-profit in Alberta that provides an informal annual conference intended to provide practical information and support for children, teenagers, parents, and caregivers living and working with Type 1 Diabetes (formerly known as Juvenile Diabetes).

This conference is where everyone understands your lifestyle and concerns. It is an opportunity to update your knowledge about Type 1 Diabetes, learn new coping techniques, and network with other families living with the condition.

    • Connect – Meet and share experiences with other families who truly understand the journey.

    • Learn – Hear from leading experts in diabetes care, research, and mental health support.

    • Support – Be part of a strong, caring community that’s here to uplift and inspire.

  • Don't let cost be a barrier! We believe every family should have access to the support they need. If the event fee is a concern, please contact the Planning Committee at info@kidsus.ca before the event, and we’ll work with you to ensure you can attend.
