POSTPONED Hummingbird Gala 2020
EDMONTON, AB - It is the decision of the Alberta Diabetes Foundation to postpone the May 1, 2020 Hummingbird Gala, presented by Christenson Communities, due to COVID-19 and related health policies; we have worked with our venue and have secured September 18, 2020 as an alternative date to proceed. This of course will be pending a policy environment in Alberta that is able to allow gatherings of greater than 250.
For Sponsors and ticket purchasers that have already committed and paid for their commitment, we will provide two options:
- Provide full refunds at this time to be directed,
- Hold the funds for now as your commitment and involvement in the September 18th Hummingbird Gala*
We truly appreciate the loyal support of our friends that has made the Hummingbird Gala an extraordinary success through the years and we truly hope that the summer will provide good news / good health for us all. Until then, the health and well being of the vulnerable diabetes community is paramount; that and our own families and communities. We hope that all are supportive of the health measures implemented by the Province of Alberta to combat COVID-19 – and that we are all here and able to celebrate in the fall!
